The next MedWAR Tennessee Race will be held
Saturday, November 6th, 2010 in Harrogate, TN.

The inaugural MedWAR Tennessee Race was an absolute blast! We had 24 competitors for the November 7th race and lucky for us the weather was on our side. We started out this year with a 3 task list that racers had the option to complete in any order they wanted. They had to orienteer to points and set up/take down a tent, go through a low ropes course, and last point was a small orienteering course up on a ridge. Once the racers were all done with all three, they found their way to historic Cumberland Gap where they completed their first scenario. Next they ascended ~1500' in elevation to complete their second scenario. The third scenario was found on the return descent and the 4th and everyone's favorite scenario was almost back at the finish line, hidden in the woods behind LMU campus. In the scenarios, racers were asked to do everything from save a teammate that had fallen into an icy river to chasing a bear from a campsite to putting in an emergency airway... on a cow trachea!
